France. Oceanic One Design and Solo-Oceans on schedule

Oceanic One Design intended for racing the Solo-Oceans, the single-handed round the world competition on an equal footing that will depart from a French port to New Zealand on October 25th 2009.
Thanks to the rigour of Technologie Marine Company run by Charlie Capelle, in charge of the construction of the hull and deck moulds of the Oceanic One Design monohulls' designed by Jean-Marie Finot (Finot-Conq Group) in consultation with Michel Desjoyeaux, skipper of Géant trimaran, we are strictly adhering to our schedule.
Therefore, with regard to this schedule, the first Oceanic One Design that will be ready to launch a round the world reconnaissance in October 2007, on the same course as the one the solo-sailors will sail two years later: France - New Zealand - France around the three legendary Capes (Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn).
