Swans drop anchor in the Principality

Tuesday 27^th March. Nautor’s Swan’s CEO Leonardo Ferragamo and YCM General Secretary Bernard d'Alessandri launched the opening ceremony of the first Monaco Swan One Design, organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco. 

Over the next four days, 11 boats representing eight nations will do battle at the foot of the Rock in a bid to amass as many points as possible in this the first of four stages of the Nations Trophy Mediterranean League 2018. At the end of the season, the winning team will lift the Nations Trophy.

Already won over by the YCM’s superb facilities, teams are set to enjoy an intense regatta in the best conditions. The Monegasque race area is accustomed to hosting prestigious regattas and again is the stage for an outstanding spectacle provided by a fleet of elegant Swans.

The brand’s latest one-designs are racing, with five ClubSwan 50s on the start alongside three Swan 45s and three ClubSwan 42s. These legendary boats have chosen to launch their Mediterranean season in Monaco, a true capital of yachting.
