Most trailer sailboats are limited in size to about 26 ft (7.92 m) in length. The primary advantages of this class of boats are that they can be kept at home in a garage, thus saving mooring fees and can be easily taken by road to new destinations from which to sail. Yachts equipped with a Balpha Mast system will take to destinations not normally accessible for sailing boats. When you combine a trailer sailer with a Balpha Mast system you will multiply the ease of use of a trailer sailer. The advantages are obvious and signifant: - Easy lowering and stowing of the mast before trailering
- Single hand operation
- Less time handling more time on the water
It looks like a trailer sailer equipped with a Balpha Mast system would make the ultimate yacht to discover international sailing grounds. | | | Balpha Mast Story so far At the HISWA Amsterdam boat show we received keen interest from local sailors and industry friends alike. It appears that there is a genuine interest for an easy to use mast lowering system on sailing yachts. Especially the waterways in Friesland, a Northern Province of The Netherlands, appears to be very applicable for Balpha Mast. After the Amsterdam Show we took Balpha Global up North and explored the Friesland waterways to discover the unique feeling of sailing in areas other sailing boats are not able to sail. Our demo boat Balpha Global appears not be carrying its name for nothing as we are receiving enquiries from all over the world as far as New Zealand. It’s really great to discuss the possibilities of the system with such a variety of nationalities. That is why we can’t wait to be at the METS Trade and to get in in touch face to face with interested people from around the world. We very much look forward to meeting you all at METS Trade. | | | | | |
