The following Executive positions are up for election at the 2017 Annual General Meeting (See the full list of current Exec Comm):
- Vice Chair Asia/Pacific, vacant (new position created at 2015 EGM, new constitution), was no nominations in 2016, up for election 2017
- Treasurer, Tomi Hakola elected 2008, 3 year term, re-elected 2011, Gina Borsa CAN nominated 2013 and lost, term extended 1 year 2014, term extended 1 year 2015, term extended 1 year 2016, up for election 2017
- Nomination - Laura Grondin, USA - (click on the link for CV) nominated by CAN class

- World Sailing has not ratified IM24CA's Class Rule submissions for 2017 so far. The ones proposed after 2016 AGM are available here.

15. Any Other Business
- Review and approval of IM24CA Regatta Regulations and Championship Rules - Championship Rules ; Event Management regulations
- Chair of the Technical Committee, Peter Göckel appointed pre 2010 , no term limits (year to year per old and new constitution). Peter has decided to retire since 2018.
- - According to the constitution - The Chairman of the Technical Committee shall be appointed by the Executive Committee on an annual basis, but with no fixed limit to the period of office. Nomination - Mike Gozzard, CAN - nomination + CV
16. Date and venue of Next Meeting
| Sunday - 13 August | The date of the AGM will be notified by announcement on the IMCA website not less than 85 days before the date of the meeting. |
| Friday - 8 September | Motions and nominations to be proposed at the AGM shall be submitted to the International Secretary not less than 8 weeks (56 days) before the date of the said AGM |
| Friday - 22 September | The Secretary shall distribute an Agenda of all motions nominations and relevant paperwork for the AGM not later than 6 weeks before the date of the said AGM. |
| Friday - 6 October | Amendments to the above motions shall be submitted no later than 4 weeks before the date of the said AGM. |
| Friday - 13 October | The Secretary shall distribute an attachment to the Agenda of any such amendments not later than 3 weeks before the date of the said AGM. |

Accommodation: The Clubhouse offers 15 comfortable rooms, from a bunk room to double bedrooms. Ranging from £48 - £230 per night, these rooms are excellent value for their location in the heart London. NOTES
Nations are asked to confirm the name of their representatives or proxies and any observers as soon as possible to assist us in the management and planning of the meeting. National Classes are also reminded that, as per the Class Constitution, World Council representatives must be Full Members of the Melges 24 Class.

The 2017 class membership numbers for each nation will be verified and invoiced in October as per the Constitution. National Classes are reminded that they must pay their membership invoice in full prior to the AGM to be eligible to vote.
The voting allocations for the 2017 IM24CA World Council AGM will confirmed once the final membership numbers are verified and invoices paid.
