Wednesday, 04 October 2017
(Nijmegen 4 October) At this year’s Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (RAI Amsterdam 10 & 11 October), electric system integrator Alewijnse Marine will put its automation solutions in the spotlights. This continues to be an area of critical importance in the offshore industry as the push for lower costs and greater productivity drives demand for ever-more sophisticated systems that can be managed by less crew.
Alewijnse has responded to this demand by developing a range of advanced, proven solutions that are designed to meet these needs. Visitors to the Alewijnse stand number 1.022R in the Holland Pavilion will have the opportunity to experience an Alewijnse operator console designed to enable the operator to oversee and control a range of ship systems from a single point. During the exhibition, solutions for offshore- and dredging vessels in process automation, process control, vessel automation & management systems will be presented. In addition, some Raytheon navigation applications will be demonstrated. Representing Alewijnse Marine in Amsterdam will be our sales and service team, comprising of Bas Oskam (Business Development Manager), Ruud Bimmel (Service Manager), Johan van Rikxoort (Product Manager Automation) and other colleagues. Alewijnse has a strong track record in the offshore energy sector with recent projects including the complete electrical and automation fit-out of the Fugro Venturer, a next-generation geophysical & hydrographic survey vessel, and the innovative cable laying vessels Maersk Connector and Nexus. Visitors to stand number 1.022R in the Holland Pavilion can expect a warm welcome and a range of insights into automation and the opportunities that it offers operators in the offshore energy sector.
