The Southampton Boat Show 2017 ended on Sunday 24th September. This year’s show has been a resounding success with a fantastic atmosphere across the 10 days.

Please see below for quotes from some of our clients.

Barton Marine

Suzanne Blaustone, Chief Executive of Barton Marine comments, “Despite economic uncertainty, the Barton Marine team found the mood at Southampton Boat Show buoyant. There was lots of enthusiasm from visitors for Barton’s reliable range of deck hardware and the chandleries showcasing Barton Marine had a fantastic show. We were very proud to support Churchouse by Drascombe Boats as the company celebrates 50 years and raise a toast to the next 50 years. The Barton Marine sponsored Women in Marine event was very well attended with 70 women from across the industry gathering to network and share their valuable experiences – we look forward to the next Women in Marine event.”

David Johnson, Sales Director for Halyard comments, “TheYachtmarket.Com Southampton Boat Show has been the perfect platform to connect with visitors, network with industry contacts and showcase Halyard’s latest, market-leading exhaust systems, noise and vibration control, filtration and associated products. In particular, we had a very significant level of interest in our new Exhaust Alert system - an overheat warning system for water-cooled exhausts, providing both audible and visual alarms should the system exceed its safe operating temperature. We are looking forward to following up all the leads and connecting with the many customers that we met at Southampton Boat Show.”

Ric Morris, co-founder of racegeek says, “The Southampton Boat Show was a fantastic way for racegeek to showcase the d10 – a tactical racing tool that collects and seamlessly uploads racing metrics to the cloud. We’ve had great feedback from visitors who loved the large screen display and ease of use, and recognised the potential to help their sailing from plotting a course to reviewing performance. It has been an ideal event to build brand awareness of racegeek with racers, boat builders, potential retailers and third party development marine influencers. We look forward to bringing the d10 to a club or regatta near you soon.”

John Arnold, UK Sales Manager for Torqeedo:

"This year's Southampton Boat Show has been a record-breaking year for Torqeedo. We've welcomed an impressive number of new and existing customers to the stand, and have many interesting leads to follow up with. Our Travel 1003 motor, with the new higher capacity battery option, has been a show favourite and we're delighted with the feedback. We look forward to returning next year."
