Much to talk about in Cannes

This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which started Tuesday and finishes on Sunday, is the 40th anniversary of Europe’s largest nautical trade exhibition. As we celebrate our silver jubilee this year, Van der Valk the new deliveries and developments to match the occasion.

Marketing manager Yoeri Bijker has already had a very busy week in Cannes. He can be contacted via [email protected] or on +31626888980 to arrange a meeting or if you would like to discuss any of the many exciting recent developments at Van der Valk.

For example, a scale model is on display at our stand number SYE220 of the first yacht in the Van der Valk BeachClub range, due for delivery early 2018. Highlights include a unique (and patent pending) choice of engine room location, allowing indoor and outdoor areas to be used to the max: we expect this to spark a revolution in the way space is used on board motoryachts.

You can also take a tour in Cannes of the Raised Pilothouse Jangada, on display at berth number SYE033 in the Super Yachts Extension. This 25-metre yacht, made in close cooperation with Nick Top, Guido de Groot and the experienced owner, illustrates the many options available on a Van der Valk yacht.

The same applies to a brand-new all-aluminium 25-metre explorer just completed back at the yard and now available for sale. Yoeri will be pleased to share more with you in Cannes about this full-displacement motoryacht built to endure the toughest weather conditions.

Or perhaps you’d like more details on our new Flybridge line. The first of these – the 23-metre Valencia – features a wonderfully curved superstructure specifically requested by her highly involved owner.

Two other recent additions to the Van der Valk fleet may also be of interest: the 26-metre Raised Pilothouse Forum with an exterior by Guido de Groot, and the 27-metre all-aluminium Anemeli , the brainchild of an owner with over three decades of boating experience.

There so much to talk about here in Cannes… Don’t hesitate to contact Yoeri here or drop by to our stand and lounge at the superyacht extension, SYE220.
