Mike Golding aboard the Ecover under jury rig - On his mast breaking, the end of his race and his return voyage to port

Earlier today Mike Golding was able to set up the jury rig on Ecover 3 and is now making slow progress towards Perth, Western Australia, some 900-odd miles away. With the next depression imminent, the 'new' rig had at least helped the motion onboard the Ecover 3.
