Ecover Dismast on December 16

ECOVER 3, skippered by Briton Mike Golding, dismasted at 0647hGMT this morning on December 16, 830 miles south of Cape Leeuwin, Australia, while leading the Vendée Globe race. He is disappointed but matter of fact and stated 'there is not much I can do about it'.
