Van der Valk - Continental Yachts delivers M/Y Selena; a new yacht in the yard’s Continental Two range - Guest bathroom
MY Selena is the 17th delivery within six years of the very popular Continental Two series. Her design has successfully blended both modern design cues with classic features. Black Walnut (Juglans Nigra Pennsylvanian) joinery with a stainless steel negative detail constitutes the basis of the interior which contains four guest cabins (three double cabins and a twin cabin) each with their own ensuite, saloon and dining area, separate helm, galley and crew quarters.

The contemporary owner's and guest's bathrooms each offer a different colour scheme and are again punctuated with stainless steel details which provide a luxury appearance. The countertops and shower walls are finished with Designer White HI-MACS™ natural acrylic stone and Peonia Mosaics. The crew area is located in the bow of the yacht and is designed to accommodate three crew members between two cabins with a communal crew bathroom.

The 23m exterior has a flybridge sundeck which compromises an outside helm position accompanied by a bar on port side and opposite a large L-shaped sofa which serves as both a lounge and outside dining area. Her foredeck accommodates a combined lounge (with capacity for 4 persons) and sun bed offering a private refuge when berthed in a stern mooring. The aft deck is equipped with a 1000kg capacity hydraulic swim platform which when lowered offers easy launching of a tender or PWC.

Fitted with the latest Volvo Penta IPS technology including 3 Volvo Penta IPS-800 engines (triple drive train) permitting a maximum speed of approximately 24 knots, MY Selena can be spotted cruising the Adriatic for the 2015 summer.

Van der Valk - Continental Yachts has been constructing both steel and aluminium motor yachts since 1968. The yards offers their semi-custom Continental series of motor yachts, with the layout, interior and style of yacht offered as “custom-built” according to clients special needs and wishes.
