JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race 2014 - Boats meet the traitorous Isle of Wight landmark, The Needles
Today was really the longest day for the 1,600 boats taking part in the JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race. With light winds affecting the 15,000 sailors taking part, it produced some spectacular images as the fleet bunched up at the Needles because of a lack of wind.

The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race (Saturday 21st June) is one of the largest participation sporting events in the UK and the largest yacht race of its kind in the world. Organised by the Island Sailing Club in Cowes, it is dubbed 'Britain's favourite yacht race', regularly attracting around 1,500 boats and 16,000 competitors
