Hans Wallén on the ascent at the M32s in Gothenburg
Hans Wallén continues to improve every day. With four podium places Wallén Racing ended up firmly in the runner-up position today. With a couple of good starts and more aggressive sailing, Wallén, the 1996 Star Olympic silver medallist, is building momentum. For the last event of the M32 Scandinavia series in Oslo, the Wallén Racing M32 catamaran was brand new and the crew experienced some problems with her trim. Now everything seems to be working better for them.

For young Nicklas Dackhammar today was a story of ups and downs. "We started out pretty badly with a sixth place in the first race," he explained. "But we got things together and managed to get a couple of second places and a win."

Tomorrow, the final day of racing in Gothenburg, the forecast indicates that it will be sunny and with the wind around 16-20 knots. It will be exciting to see how the skippers and crews can handle these high velocity racing catamaran in such conditions on such a tight race area.

A live stream of racing can be viewed at www.m32series.com. Racing starts at 1400 local time. The battle is on!
