Since its introduction in Spring 2005 as an exclusive C-Map NT+ chart for Northern Californias leading fishing club, thousands of Coastside Fishing Club chart cards have been sold to anglers looking for an offshore edge. Now, as part of Jeppesen Marines C-Map Spring 07 Release, the company is launching its first MAX Coastside Fishing Club Chart (NA-M608.00), available on C-card and SD card covering the inshore and offshore fishing areas from Pt. Conception, California to Coos Bay, Oregon.

This means that club members will be able to combine the state-of-the-art features of MAX such as Flashing NavAids, Dynamic Surface Currents, Tidal Predictions, Land Contour Elevations, NavRef Photos of Harbors & Inlets, Perspective View, detailed C-Marina charts, and more with exclusive Members Only fishing data like IGFA and state record information, local fishing regulations and favorite fishing spots of club members.

This new chart also provides MAX Fish ID Photos, an exclusive feature that gives anglers a realistic color image and specific information about the regions most popular offshore and inshore gamefish. And theyll be able to view all this useful information right on their chart plotter displays, for easier navigation and more successful angling. No other electronic chart does so much to help serious anglers identify, find and catch the fish they want.

This first MAX Coastside Fishing Club chart gives members a powerful electronic fishing tool that they can use with all the latest MAX-compatible GPS/chart plotters from leading manufacturers like Furuno, Northstar, Simrad, SI-TEX, Standard Horizon, Cobra and Interphase. With so many makes and models to choose from, theres a MAX-compatible chart plotter to fit any size boat and budget. These new charts are also available on CD to work with a variety of MAX-compatible PC-based navigation systems.

In addition to all the great features of MAX, this special chart contains a wealth of useful fishing data compiled especially for Coastside Fishing Club members. This includes local knowledge such as Members Only fishing spots, wrecks, reefs, pinnacles and even boundary lines for regulated areas. This latest release features even more detail and dozens of additional member secret spots gathered over the last two years, perfect for anglers after everything from coastal rockfish, stripers, halibut and salmon to bluefin tuna and albacore offshore.

In addition to all this great fishing information, Bay Area anglers and boaters will appreciate the highly detailed C-Marina charts and aerial photos of key regional harbors such s Berkeley Marina, Pillar Point Harbor and Moss Landing.

In addition to the new MAX chart for Coastside Members, the Spring 07 Release will include an updated version of the current Coastside NT+ chart, good news for anglers using the dozens of NT+ chart plotter models currently on boats up and down the coast.
