The foils the l'Hydroptère.ch catamaran will attempt this afternoon to break the record for the Blue Ribbon on the Geneva - Le Bouveret - Geneva route.

Monday September 3, 2012 - the experimental catamaran hydrofoil .ch, led by Daniel Schmaeh, Jérémie Lagarrigue, Stéphane Dyen, Gael Ledoux and Guillaume Coyon, will address this afternoon to record the Blue Ribbon, along Geneva - Le Bouveret-Geneva.

The departure is planned around 13: 00 to the coast of the Geneva nautical society, while the arrival can take place from 17: 00.

The crew of the hydrofoil .ch will be available at the end of his attempt at the Club Nautique de Versoix.

The bise is well established, to 20-25 knots and is expected to continue this afternoon. In addition, it should blow to le Bouveret, one of the preconditions for the establishment of a record

The record is currently held by Philippe Cardis in 4 h 53' 19 "
