Trade show news:
Regularly washing a boat's exterior surface helps to maintain the sheen of paintwork, preventing the build up of dirt and grease that cause dullness. The non-abrasive Awlwash and Awlcare products from leading coatings manufacturer, AWLGRIP, help owners and crew to look after the AWLGRIP topcoats.
The Awlwash Wash Down Concentrate & Awlcare Polymer sealer, especially developed for AWLGRIP® & AWLCRAFT® 2000 Topcoats, have been proven to significantly extend the gloss and longevity of the topcoat.
Extensive testing at AWLGRIP laboratories and in the harsh marine environment ensures that Awlwash, sold as a concentrated formula, provides optimum performance for users. It does not contain any alkalies, acids or abrasives, and as it is biodegradable it cleans without damage to the sea or marine life.
The Awlcare Protective Polymer Sealer is ideally applied after cleaning with Awlwash to provide protection to a boat's exterior surface. With regular application Awlcare provides a protective polymer coating that lasts through multiple washings to help protect against damage from acid rain and other pollutants. Awlcare, which also acts as a gentle detergent, can be used in between washing with Awlwash to remove mild stains such as diesel soot or water spots (caused by bacteria in water).
For painted surfaces that may have become porous due to age or mistreatment, Awlcare can be used as a temporary seal that helps to maintain a satisfactory appearance until there is time to repaint.
Using Awlwash followed by Awlcare provides the perfect care routine for boats throughout the year, helping to maintain the exceptional finish of AWLGRIP topcoats.
