Company news:

Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) announces a general price increase for its coatings resins products, effective on orders placed on and after December 11, 2006.

Products and the associated increases per pound are:

Dispersions $0.04
Polyesters $0.06
Acrylics $0.05
Emulsions $0.04
Alkyds $0.06
Epoxy Esters $0.06
Reafree Powders $0.08
Other Powders $0.08

According to Marcel de Wolf, Vice President of CCPs Polymers Division, continued increases in costs of raw material feedstocks, transportation, energy, packaging, and in other areas make these price adjustments necessary in order to ensure the highest levels of product and service quality for CCP customers.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, CCP is--along with associated companies Cray Valley and Sartomer--the second largest producer of coatings resins in the world.

Peninsula Polymers, LLC, CCPs distributor partner for coatings resins products, is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and has distribution centers in California, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas.
