Company news: SP, the marine focused technology brand of Gurit, is pleased to announce the signing of a contract with the highly successful production boatbuilders, Seaway. The composite specialists will be providing engineering services and supplying advanced composite materials in the construction of Seaway’s new Shipman 72 and 80 models. In addition to extensive engineering consultation, SP’s Corecell™ structural foam and SPRINT® prepreg will be used throughout both vessels. This new breed of super sized production sail boat will follow in the footsteps of the critically acclaimed Shipman 50 and Shipman 63. Each model has won numerous accolades including European Boat of the Year 2004 and European Yacht of the Year 2006 |
