Walker Bay Boats Inc. has appointed Jeffrey Going as Eastern Area Sales Manager. In this role he will be responsible for growing sales through both dealer and distributor networks. Paul Roberts, VP of Sales & Marketing for Walker Bay Boats said, “Jeff will bring a great depth of knowledge and experience to Walker Bay having worked for Zodiac for 17 years in North America. Our goal is to have the best team within our market sector to support our customers and with people like Jeff we will make this happen.”

Going has in-depth knowledge of the inflatable business in North America and an understanding of what dealers need to represent a line. Going commented, “I’ve seen many great inflatables, but when I saw Walker Bay’s new line I was impressed with the level of feature detail and performance. These boats have great potential and I look forward to being a part of the success.” In addition to growing the Genesis dealer network, Going will expand the Original line through distributor programs.

Going has held various prominent positions in the marine industry for 26 years, his most recent with Defender Industries and Zodiac. He is also Chairman of the Essex Harbor Management Commission, Co-Chair of the Connecticut River Harbor Management Dock Committee, Member of the Long Island Sound Advisory Council and Past Commodore for Essex Corinthian & Pettipaug Yacht Clubs. He has a degree in Business Administration from Ricker College.
