Company news: Pleasure boaters with smaller craft who need fresh drinking water for a day out on the water don’t always require large capacity desalinization units. SK Watermakers offers the MP 100, a high-quality, portable watermaker with 100 GPD capacity. The MP 100 has a small, compact design and weighs only 55 pounds. Its 1/2-hp motor requires 8A at 115V AC power. And while the unit includes a molded handle for easy handling, permanent mounting brackets are available as well. Like larger SK Watermakers units, the MP 100 includes a high-rejection, Dow FILMTEC Membrane and an efficient high pressure pump and motor as well as pressure regulator valves.
