In the words of J-class tactician, James Scott-Anderson “I’ve spent a day on board, we were out sailing against the Maltese Falcon this morning; this afternoon we had up to 18.4 knots and, having driven the boat myself at 17.5 knots, she is a sailing boat without any doubt at all. I say that unequivocally. In her performance, her handling, her speed Mirabella V is unequivocally a sailing boat.”
James’ full impressions of a day spent with the world’s two largest sailing yachts will be on line soon. Plus, Mirabella V’s owner, Joe Vittoria, talking candidly to BYM News about everything from the days he was scrubbing other people’s yachts in New York to the economics of running a super yacht.
Pictures of these two great yachts are being uploaded to the BYM Photo Gallery today, keep checking Mirabella V & Maltese Falcon. |
