Environmental news:
Area Marriott associates and family members, along with many other citizens, will hit the shorelines of Virginia and clean up Theodore Roosevelt Island, a national landmark protected by the National Park Service. Their efforts will help protect the waterways and preserve this national treasure as a better place for visitors to relax and enjoy.
Gather at Key Bridge Marriott 1401 Lee Highway, Arlington, Va. (Rosslyn), then to Roosevelt Island and Virginia Shoreline Saturday, September 16, 2006 From 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Group proceeds to Theodore Roosevelt Island and conducts morning clean-up and beautification of the area. |
