Nick Entwisle: We are pleased to announce that the eighteenth Pinmar Yachtsman's Golf Tournament, co-sponsored by Awlgrip, will be held in Mallorca on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October 2006 with a spectacular prizegiving dinner and show on Saturday 21st. After generously donating a Peugeot 206 last year, Freedom Maritime will this year be leading the fundraising efforts by cycling to the tournament from Antibes. Pete Williams and Robin Thomas of Freedom will be joined by Declan Philpot of Square Foot and Daniel "Digger" Grensinger of Virtual Media for the 860km ride. At the request of last year's winners - Blue Attraction - the principal beneficiary of this year's charity fund will be cancer research in honour of their regular team member Brian Millward who died recently. We will do this directly and through a donation to C & N yachtbroker Nick Baker's Aqualung Trust. We will also continue to support Joves Navegants (the Mallorcan sail training organization) and Encompass (in honour of YPI yachtbroker Alex Braden's son Alex). All players and guests -and everyone else - are kindly invited to sponsor the Freedom bike ride.
