The product evolved as a result of feedback from racing sailors that wanted a backpack with enough internal volume to accommodate foul weather gear and boots, plus the ability to protect a laptop when required to do so. With input from other experienced offshore sailors, Ocean Racing designed this backpack with features that include: Polyurethane-impregnated nylon fabric which is color-fast and UV-resistant; Radio frequency welded panels with stitched and taped seams; Coated water-resistant zippers to prevent salt water incursion; Padded neoprene computer sleeve that fits into an internal compartment to cushion and protect laptops with screen sizes up to 15.4"; Large main compartment to accommodate foul weather gear and boots; Padded shoulder straps and back that comfortably distributes weight; Internal organizer pocket & external water-resistant pocket; Mesh pockets for wet sailing gloves, sun block, water bottles & accessories; Large carrying handle; Measures 19” x 14” x 12”; Tastefully designed in navy and black, the Offshore Backpack also provides a professional appearance, fitting into the business dress codes of today’s workforce. , For extended races or trips, a matching waterproof Offshore Duffel is also available. Made with the same high quality, waterproof materials and construction as the backpack, it measures 26” x 14” x 12”.
