Boat show news: Honda has lots to shout about at the 2006 Southampton Boat Show – but we’re not going to yell, we’d much rather invite you for a chilled out chat and cold beer whilst introducing you to our brand new BF75 and BF90 outboard engines which make their European press debut at the show. Billed not just as the ‘next generation’ outboard but as the ‘dream generation’ outboard, Honda’s new state-of-the-art engines boast more torque, more power, better fuel economy and better emissions control. Incorporating new technology based on years of experience as the world’s largest engine manufacturer, the results are impressive. Coupled with a new, lithe and compact design which makes these Honda outboards smaller, more streamlined and lighter than ever before, these two engines set a new precedent within the outboard market and must be seen to be believed.
