Sponsorship news: Ocean Yacht Systems has extended its support to one of its major customers, by sponsoring the prestigious Perini Navi Cup which will be held in Sardinia from the 7th to 10th of September 2006. The Regatta is exclusively for Perini yachts of 36 to 56 metres and to date 17 of these magnificent Superyachts have entered, including OYS rigged boats Rosehearty, Santa Maria, Parsifal III and Ohana. The sailing will be directed by Vela & Vino Yacht Events and the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club will host the event. OYS was previously a Technical Sponsor of the 2004 Perini Navi Cup at the same venue, but this year’s event is expected to be even more successful. Having rigged over 90% of Perini Navi’s fleet with standing rigging and hydraulic systems, OYS have forged a very strong alliance with the Italian Superyacht yard through years of innovative designs, technical support and unsurpassable customer service. A number of fleet boats have also undergone major rig refits as part of the OYS Service Programme, such as Galaxia and Atmosphere which were two boats refitted earlier this year. This is the second time Perini Navi has held a dedicated regatta for its fleet, attracting wide spread international recognition. |
