Shipyard news: Ten months after launching “ALILA,” Cantieri Navali Lavagna (CNL) launched “BE COOL” last July, its 35-meter planing yacht made of light aluminium alloy, fully accessorized and sophisticated, and designed for maximum comfort inside and out, as well as the highest performance on the seas, for which Admiral is renowned. “Ten months in which our business,” says General Director Francesco Ceccarelli, “has made great strides in terms of financial investments, but not alone. Our firm has sought out highly professional people to ensure growth in our organizational capabilities; we have developed new processes in our Lavagna and Riva Trigoso plants to increase production capability; we have created AMY (Admiral Mariotti Yachts) in partnership with the renowned T. Mariotti shipyards in Genova, with whom we have created steel, displacing megayachts; we have formed new commercial alliances, opening our business to strategic markets, such as Greece; and we have invested in strengthening the Admiral brand and image with the “Ultimate Yachts” pay-off, which gives evidence of the uniqueness of our products and our innovative thrust”. “And the results are noteworthy: Nine boats from 25 to 54 meters sold in less than a year!” declares Commercial Director Maurizio Magri with pride. “An impressive number, when one realizes that these are aluminium and steel & aluminium yachts and then it is not a series production.” Here are the sales figures: two Admiral 25s, two Admiral 32s, one Admiral 35, two Admiral 39s, and one Admiral 44, whose sales agreement was signed a few weeks ago. Beside the steel 54-meter displacing yacht, that marks the entry of Admiral’s brand into the world of large megayachts. “BE COOL” is the newest yacht in the fleet, just the first in a series of yachts scheduled for launch in the coming months. Presently confirmed under construction are the following yachts: two 25-meter, two 32-meter, a 35-meter, two 39-meter and a 44-meter, and the first 54-meter displacing steel megayacht now under construction at T. Mariotti’s shipyard in Genoa, whose hull will be completed in November 2007. This is further confirmation of Admiral’s strong impact in the world of luxury yachts. |
