Boat builder news:
Sabre Yachts will be expanding its model line up yet again with the February 2007 introduction of the Sabre 52 Salon Express. The first Sabre 52 Salon Express will be completed by early January of 2007.
“We continue to have a healthy demand from dealers and customers for a full range of Sabre motoryachts,” said Daniel Zilkha, Chief Executive Officer of Sabre Yachts. “The Sabre 52 Salon Express is the latest expression of that demand, tailored to the larger yacht market,” he said. Zilkha noted that this fall, the company will debut another new model – the Sabre 34 – to meet demand for Sabre quality yachts in the smaller end of the market.
The Sabre 52 is the largest motoryacht in the company’s history. She features the classic “Downeast” styling, extraordinary craftsmanship and performance for which Sabre Yachts is so well known. “Working on this scale has allowed us to incorporate a number of exceptional design features, and many of them were inspired by in-depth discussions with our dealers and customers,” said Bentley Collins, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Sabre Yachts. “The 52 will delight her owners many times over as they discover all of the design and performance innovations,” he said.
Above Deck
Her elevated helm deck offers clear sight lines from the twin Stidd helm chairs. Overhead the salon a sunroof retracts to let in the sun in the daytime or the stars at night. The 52’s oversized U-shaped lounge – finished with custom fabrics – surrounds a hi-lo inlaid cherry dining/coffee table. The salon is elegant and luxurious.
Below Deck
Exceptional design features are clearly evident below deck on the Sabre 52. The layout includes two staterooms. Double Shoji style pocket doors lead to the master stateroom (amidship), which includes a spacious low queen island berth, bureau and nightstands, his and hers cedar-lined closets, built-in LCD television with DVD player, and exclusive access to the master head with an oversized shower compartment.
The Sabre 52’s guest stateroom (forward) is equally spacious, with a low queen island berth, a bureau, built-in LCD television with DVD player, cedar-lined closet and private access to the guest head.
Exquisite craftsmanship is exhibited in the fine woodworking details and superior fit and finish throughout her interior.
Power
Substantial performance comes standard on the Sabre 52. Twin diesel CAT C15 865hp engines linked to Twin Disc Quick Shift marine gears provide comfortable cruising speeds in the mid-20-knot range.
