Product news: BSG Développements, developers of SailPack, Sail Design Software is pleased to introduce the SailPack-Viewer software program. The purpose of this option is to offer a unique and major improvement in how to present, and sell, sail designs to a prospective or current customer, directly or through an existing sales network. SailPack-Viewer allows the user to create a single file with all the sails and rig together in an active 3D view. Through this 3D view the customer will be able to see, from any point of view and with multiple options of rendering (geometry, mould aspect, paneling and/or full description with finishing details), his/her personally designed sail. This presentation could be made available by CD or sent by email. To protect the design specifics the PPK file will not contain any readable information about shape, outline or geometry. In addition the designer can associate with this file a password and allow only the specified customer the ability to read this PPK file. It will not be possible for a non-authorized person the read this file and study the lofts proposal in more detail without permission via this password. SailPack-Viewer option is offered as an extension to SailPack, Sail Design software. With it the designer or sales person will be able to create from any project, rig, or model a PPK file and then send this to your customer with a PPK reader (i.e. the “viewer”). This second software is free for redistribution and can be shared with anyone, without limitation.
