Company news:
Hydrolift UK, the sole importer and distributor of the Hydrolift range for the UK and Channel Islands, will be making an appearance with the stunning S-24 sportsboat at the Plymouth round of the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship, from 4th - 6th August. The S-24, which is set to represent the new generation of boats from Hydrolift, will be on display by the Hydrolift Hospitality Tent overlooking the Plymouth Hoe throughout the race.
The Class 1 World Powerboat Championship is close to Hydrolift’s heart as the owner of Hydrolift AS, Bard Eker, is a reigning World Powerboat Champion (2005). The Hydrolift team was led to victory in both 2002 and 2005 by the stunning ‘Spirit of Norway.’ On both these occasions the boat was throttled by powerboat racing legend Steve Curtis.
With years of personal experience the Hydrolift team has created the S-24 with a revolutionary hull design. The new design allows high top speed with perfect handling in rough sea. Powered by a Mercruiser 6.2 litre MX V8 engine, the S-24 delivers 320 bhp with complete safety and control. This combination of extreme acceleration yet safe control makes the boat the perfect choice for an adrenalin junkie or the adventurous family.
The sleek, sexy and agile S-24, which is relatively new to the UK, was debuted at the Southampton Sportsboat & RIB Show in April this year. The Hydrolift designs are well renowned in Scandinavia, and the S-24 just goes to prove the company’s unmatched credentials for producing the ultimate range of powerboats.
To see the S-24 on display and to experience what is sure to be another exciting round of the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship, as powerboats from across the world compete in one of the most prestigious races, visit the Plymouth Hoe from 4th - 6th August. |
