Exhibition: The King and Queen of Spain will inaugurate tomorrow, at 18.00 hours, the photograph exhibition "Copa del Rey - 25 years of images", with the participation of 24 prestigious local, national and international graphic reporters. The exhibition intends to pay tribute to all the persons that, in one way or another, have been linked to this regatta considered one of the most important events in the world. The exhibition that will be open from 1 to 21 August offers an original show afloat at the indoor swimming pool of Real Club Náutico de Palma and has been designed by firm ST-Art. The inauguration act will take place at 18.00 hours at Real Club Náutico de Palma and will be attended by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, the Mayoress of Palma, Catalina Cirer and the president of Real Club Náutico de Palma, Matías Salvá, among others. Afterwards, at 18.30 hours, at the Club terraces, the welcome celebration will take place with a popular Mallorca dances show by the Escola de Música i Dances de Mallorca that will interpret different dances (jotas and boleros). The group will be formed by 40 dancers wearing typical Mallorca dresses. The Escola de Música i Dances de Mallorca has been awarded several prizes, among them the Folklore World Champion title, a prize awarded at the 1987 Munich Festival. During the exhibition, Codorniú will offer a tasting of its selected wines accompanied by music and dance at the Real Club Náutico de Palma terraces. |
