Spain. Infanta Cristina to sail in Louis Vuitton regatta on America’s Cup yacht Desfio Espanol today |

America’s Cup news:
The Infanta Cristina will visit the America’s Cup Village, in Valencia, today and tour the works that have been carried out in the port as preparation for the world famous regatta. Dona Christina will then go to the facilities of Desafio Espanol and, afterwards, will sail as crew member number 18 in the first regatta of the day against the Italian boat +39 Challenge.
Cristina de Borbón will be the third member of the royal family to participate in the current Louis Vuitton Cup, on board Desafio Espanol. Last Friday, her brother, prince Felipe, was on board the Spanish yacht during the regatta against the Swiss team Alinghi, in which the Spaniards were beaten. Prior to that, king Juan Carlos has twice sailed, as crew member 18, on the Spanish boat and once as a guest on Alinghi.
