UK. Lewmar announces new L46ST winch |

As part of Lewmar’s ‘stretch winch’ development programme, a brand new winch, the L46ST, has been introduced this month. A complete overhaul of Lewmar’s winch range has taken place over the last 12 months. Stretched power ratios, achieved by re-engineering the gears, has enabled Lewmar to offer its customers new winch sizes better aligned to suit the requirement of builders and designers.
Available in an alloy, chrome or stainless steel finish, the new L46ST sits neatly between Lewmar’s existing L44 and L48 winches and is priced accordingly. “We anticipate that our key OEM’s will recognise the benefit of having this new winch size when specifying equipment on their yachts,” comments Tony Jones, product manager for winches.
