Bouwe Bekking - skipper Oh, do we have fun!!!! Not exactly, who wants to buy a ticket for the ride? I think most of the guys are willing to sell. This is nearly the most uncomfortable point of sailing on a Volvo 70. Tight reaching, heaps of water over the deck, crashing and banging into the waves. Not to forget typing this daily takes me 4 times as long as normal, hitting the wrong keys all the time, in the mean time trying to avoid to bang my melon into the mainsheet driveshaft or getting launched into the leeward bunk. The good news is we are still gaining on the boats behind us and keeping the same distance to Betty and we are going fast towards the Bay, plus all the guys are in good shape and looking forward to a mega (healthy) burger. I have done my hundreds words, kisses to all the girls from all of us, movistar out. |
