Marian Martin:

West Norfolk Council has appointed architects Llewelyn Davies Yeang to produce preliminary drawings for the £15 million marina in King's Lynn. The firm will also undertake an economic impact analysis, head up the consultation on the marina and secure funding from the public and private sectors.

Llewelyn Davies Yeang is expected to have the first drawings of the proposed development ready by October.

The Council hopes the marina will be a key factor in the town's regeneration strategy.
