Company news:

Dockside Restaurant and Marina, for generations the place to be at Wrightsville Beach, has new ownership. Started as a local family business, Dockside promises to continue as a local family enterprise. The change of ownership marks a renewed commitment to promoting the best of coastal Carolina culture and tradition at the popular eatery.

"The Holman and Smith families have built an icon, an institution, a great team of people offering the best service to our local community and visitors from afar," says Lionel Yow, family patriarch, longstanding Wilmingtonian, and new owner.

"I want Dockside to continue its tradition as the place to be, relaxing with friends, celebrating with family, or making new friends and enjoying the best of life away from our workaday world."

Prominently located on historic Airlie Road and the scenic Intracoastal Waterway, Dockside is idyllic for catching salty sea breezes and embracing an island lifestyle. Fresh seafood, salads and specials, icy cold drinks, designer coffees and friendly Carolina service carry on a perennial tradition.

Yow announced several new program enhancements including: A new Dockside online calendar featuring activities in the beachfront community; Improved access at Dockside Marina encouraging patrons to arrive by boat; Expanded hours of service for experiencing life on the waterfront

The Dockside is a family-owned hospitality enterprise serving Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington, North Carolina for generations. Known as the place to be for locals and vacationers alike, Dockside offers outdoor deck and inside seating as well as an open air steamed seafood and beverage bar, full service marina and ample off street parking.
