Gulf Craft says that it concluded sales worth $10 million, during the Dubai Boat Show, and has pending deals worth the same amount. Sales included four Majesty models – two 88s and two 66s – and the company says it also sold a Majesty 118, but has not included it in the show sales, as the specification and price has still to be finalised with the client.

The company says it received enquiries from dealers, throughout Europe, who were interested in stocking its range and that interest from potential US customers – both individuals and brokers - was very high. Gulf Craft anticipates increasing its representation in America, as a result of the high level of interest at the show.

Gulf Craft has a Majesty 130 scheduled for launching later this year, but does not intend to neglect the smaller boat market. It introduced its orange coloured Oryx 36 sport cruiser at the show and intends to add more models in the smaller sizes over the next year. It also reported strong interest in the range of boats from GC Marine, which it took over earlier this year, especially the new luxury sports fishing Challenger 47.
