The Dockominium Group is offering a berth for a 115 foot vessel for a record $1.2 million. The broker says that the berth, in Bluffs marina is minutes from the Jupiter inlet, with no fixed bridges, and within walking distance of shopping and the beach.
The berth is at the end of a pontoon and combines two moorings for smaller yachts.
Dockominium says that the $9,230 per foot price is justified because available large berths are rare throughout Florida, especially since recent hurricanes damaged many marinas. Another factor is the ever growing sale if waterfront property to developers.
