Company news: RingProp PLC has selected MoNo Marine BV to distribute the company's innovative line of ringed propellers in The Netherlands and Belgium. The appointment adds another major marine market to RingProp's global distribution network, which now also includes the US, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Australia, The Pacific Islands, New Zealand and Eastern Canada. MoNo Marine is a distributor based in Holland with a strong management team with many years of marine industry experience in delivering ship's power solutions, both propulsion and electric, to the pleasure craft and commercial marine markets. Gary Mullins, RingProp CEO, said "The appointment of MoNo Marine is another very important step in the process of developing RingProp's distribution infrastructure throughout Europe." RingProp's patented design for outboard motors is a cost-effective response to growing concern about the safety and environmental impact of conventional, open-blade propellers. The integral ring around the blades offers a safer approach with no exposed blade tips. The unique ring also combats the fouling of ropes, nets and weed. The hydrodynamic design of the ring and blades provides increased thrust and reduces torque steer and ventilation, resulting in superior boat handling and manoeuvrability, while maintaining rapid acceleration. |
