Exhibition news:
Leading international boat builder, Fairline Boats plc, alongside Fairline Emirates, Fairline's appointed dealer for the United Arab Emirates, will be displaying a selection of their luxury performance yachts at this year's 14th Dubai International Boat Show.
At the Show, Fairline Emirates will showcase the custom designed Squadron 74, alongside the Phantom 50, Phantom 40 and the sleek Targa 40.
Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the Show will take place from 14th to 18th March 2006 at the Dubai International Marine Club in Mina Seyahi. The Dubai International Boat Show is the largest marine industry exhibition in the Middle East and will once again generate business deals for the booming Middle East marine market.
The largest of Fairline's range, the Squadron 74 exemplifies everything a luxury performance motor yacht should be. Following three years in development, every inch of this boat is in accordance to specific design requirements offering a truly customised yacht for a boat of this size.
2006 will see significant changes to the interior layout of the yacht, with a 'newly styled' model set to be launched at the 2006 Southampton International Boat Show in September.
The Targa 40, on of the smallest exhibited at the Show, is one of Fairline's most sought-after models, with no fewer than 235 sold. As well as featuring all the quality and comfort that is synonymous with the Targa range, this craft features an integrated tender garage, which allows customers to store their RIB easily and without removing the outboard engine. With two large, upholstered sun pads on deck, the Targa 40 is the perfect craft for having fun in the sun.
Below deck, the spacious saloon features an LCD television and CD/Radio, as well as providing storage space for CDs and DVDs, all of which are unusual features for a 40-foot craft. The galley houses a hob, oven and grill, a fridge and a stainless steel sink and drainer. The master cabin even features an integrated bedhead stereo.
The vast amount of waterside and island developments in Dubai and around the region are generating increased demand for leisure boats. For manufacturers and those servicing the marine leisure industry nowhere in the world boasts such a huge concentration of investment in waterside developments as Dubai and the Middle East. These include the Three Palm Developments (The Palm Jumeirah, The Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira) and the Dubai Marina complex.
Since those early days of 1967, Fairline has become one of the most successful boat builders in the world. Employing over 1200 staff, they are a key export company in the UK, with over 95% of their boats sold overseas. Each boat in Fairline's 12-range of yachts boast stunning looks coupled with impeccable quality.
