The largest superyacht ever built by Westport Shipyard was launched on Monday, at Platypus Marine, Port Angeles on Monday. The 164 foot yacht has an advanced hull design by renowned naval architect William Garden and styling by Donald Starkey.
The Vanga has accommodation for the owner and up to ten guests, including VIP suite, with its own sun deck, on the top deck. The master suite, on the main deck, spans the full 31 foot beam for spacious.
There is a formal dining area, adjacent to the galley, as well as a large covered aft deck area for al fresco entertainment. The flybridge features a hot tub and full service bar.
Westport says that the 164, which has been built for an American owner, who has not been named, is designed for exceptional cruise speeds, to bring distant destinations within easy reach. |
