Association news:
The Marine Design Resource Alliance (MDRA), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the future of recreational boating, has donated 50,000 crayons to Creative Pitch, a Chicago-based volunteer organization that provides art supplies to thousands of Chicago area students. The work of Creative Pitch is especially important to the development of art skills for these students since supplies funding in schools has been slashed drastically.
”Advancing the art of design is obviously an important part of MDRAąs reason for existence,” explained MDRA President Peter Granata. “Each year, we sponsor scholarships for leading art students throughout the world, so why not extend our program to deserving kids who are just beginning their art skills development experience.”
The Marine Design Resource Alliance is made up of members who contribute their time and energy toward creating a bright future for recreational boating. MDRA sponsors a range of programs, scholarships and events like the
MDRA Creative Conference. |
