In Miami, America, Olympic and Paralympic sailors are taking part in the Rolex Miami OCR regatta, organised by US SAILING and the U.S. and North American Class Associations. This is part of a Winter Circuit of 22 regattas and training camps, for various classes.

In Sydney, Australia, Australia's largest sailing event, the Skandia Geelong Week is in full swing. First held in 1844 and officially established in 1859, this is also one of the nation's oldest sporting events. Among the super maxi competitors is Grant Wharington, who has already taken a record in his passage race dash from slashing Williamstown to Geelong, just after finishing the second leg of the Volvo Ocean Race in the Volvo Open 70 Ing Real Estate Brunel.

The Yacht Racing section (3432 pix in 33 albums) of the BYM Photo Gallery has pictures of all the competing Volvo Ocean Race yachts, as well as Rolex Miami pictures. Click Last Uploads to view the latest pix.
