Shore Team:
An email from Support Boat "Aurora" has provide a little more information about their visit to GS yesterday. Al is no longer taking medication for his suspected cracked rib as it was not agreeing with him. He luckily has no symptoms of a punctured lung so will gladly pack up his quartermaster's duties and join Nick with the rowing in a day or so. During the roll on the 14th they also lost some other gear and water containers. The water maker continues to work well as does power supply system based on solar panels. Andrew Morris of "Charmed Life" gave them a back up cooker before leaving La Gomera so hopefully they will not have to survive on freeze dried meals mixed with cold water. By 11:00 hrs this morning they had reached N 19d 28'/W 047d 28' and completed 57sm. They now only have 952 sm to go. Winds continue to come from the E & NE force 5-6 and seas of 4-6m make going rough
Gurkha Spirit is crewed by Al Howard and Nick Rowe from Hampshire UK and Hong Kong Resides in Hants Hong Kong
