Charles and Tom:
Loss of communications has resulted in the lack of news so apologies. Yesterday was a day of more news. Its typical you hear nothing and then everything comes at once!
Gurkha spirit has had a rough time with Al involuntary receiving Atlantic swimming lessons. We have been trying to contact them but to no avail, so can someone please contact them on our behalf.
Dave & Jim from Army Media ops have confirmed they are coming to Antigua, so if you are planning on coming then pack the make-up!
Atlantic Warrior is also up for sale on the ORS website - so at least the boat owner is confident of our arrival!
The weather has been less extreme today allowing us to get some faster rowing done and hopefully make up some lost time. But it has been so changeable lately, flat one minute and storming the next that we are prepared for anything!
Tried out our immersion suits, definitely needs tailoring a bit but good for fancy dress!
Spirits are good and its our favourite supper of cod & potato tonight!
CB & TMB
Atlantic Warrior is crewed by Charles Bairsto and Tom Bright from Bristol UK http://www.humanedgetech.com/expedition/atlanticrowers/ http://www.atlanticrowingrace.co.uk |
