Company news:

Offshore Sailing School has partnered with Colgate Management to offer a brand new service to new owners of the popular Colgate 26 sport boat – a free Two-Day Tune-up, valued at up to $1500, for those who place an order for the standard model of a new Colgate 26 before April 2006.

“We’ve had a lot of customers ask if they could borrow an Offshore instructor to help them get their boat up to speed,” explains Steve Colgate, designer of this innovative boat and founder of Offshore Sailing School. "Offshore Sailing School instructors teach Learn to Sail, Performance and Racing courses on Colgate 26s day in and day out. They are the experts on how to set them up for safe and efficient sailing in any sea and wind conditions.” explained Colgate.

The Colgate 26 is a popular family day sailer, racer and the boat of choice for training at the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Maine Maritime Academy, United Kingdom Sailing Academy, and a host of schools and other fine institutions around the world. It comes ready to sail with North Sails main, jib and spinnaker; solar panels; solid cockpit railings, VHF electronics and all standard equipment.

To take advantage of this limited time offer, new purchasers must place an order by April and take delivery of the boat before the end of the 2006. Offshore Sailing School will fly an instructor to the owner’s home base for two days of tuning and training, with no cost for airfare and other expenses up to $1500.
