Fresh from the celebration of what would have been his 71st birthday, on January 8, Elvis Presley will make a triumphant return to performing tomorrow, Thursday, January 12.
The King will cruise the Cuyahoga River, aboard the one and only, custom built Guitar Boat, singing his classic hits. He will be reliving his glory days, in full costume, when he arrives at Settlers’ Landing on the east bank of the Flats at 10:30 tomorrow morning.
Built in 1969 as a publicity stunt for a Midwestern boat show, the Guitar Boat is approximately 24 feet long and shaped exactly like a guitar, even featuring strings and tuning knobs. It will be on display at the Cleveland Boat Show until January 20. |
