Boat Show news:
For the fourth consecutive year, Regal Marine Industries, Inc. of Orlando Florida, worldwide manufacturer of luxury, performance Sport Boats, Sport Cruisers and Sport Yachts, will sponsor the Leading with Vision and Values Luncheon at the Miami Boat Show on February 17, 2006. Author and businessman C. William Pollard, chairman of the $3 billion ServiceMaster Company, will bring the message “Timeless Values in Turbulent Times”.
According to event organizer, Tim Kuck, vice president of Regal Marine Industries, the overwhelming success and positive response from the past three vision and values luncheons has supported the continuation of this program at the Miami Boat Show. “Our goal is to bring an inspiring speaker to the industry that lives by the highest standards of visions and values and has a proven track record of conducting business accordingly,” explained Kuck. We are excited to feature someone of Bill Pollard’s stature and believe his message is a one-size-fits-all message that applies to our lives both personally and professionally,” added Kuck.
During Pollard’s leadership of the company, ServiceMaster was recognized by Fortune magazine as the #1 service company among the Fortune 500 and also was included in it’s list of most admired companies. In Pollard’s latest book, The Soul of the Firm, he explains the reason behind the enormous growth and success of ServiceMaster, its commitment to honor God and the development of its people. Based on his years of service, Pollard uses examples from ServiceMaster to show leaders how to turn the workplace into a vibrant environment for a successful business.
The “Leading with Vision and Values” luncheon will be held on Friday, February 17, 2006 from noon-1:15 pm at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Rooms A204/A205. To insure your reservation, tickets must be ordered by January 27, and are available for $25 each, or $200 for a corporate table of eight.
The ever-growing Visions and Values luncheon has become a gathering place for people of the industry to come together. As an added bonus this year, every attendee will receive a copy of Pollard’s latest book, The Soul of the Firm |
