Exhibition news:

More than 1.2 million square feet of on-water exhibit space that will make up the 2006 Yacht & Brokerage Show is sold out. The 18h annual international show, February 16 – 20, 2006 along the Indian Creek Waterway and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach, will feature more than three-quarters of a billion dollars worth of the world’s most spectacular yachts ranging in size from 30 feet up to 160 feet along with displays featuring builders, equipment, accessories and services for the yachting industry.

“The market for luxury yachts continues be very strong,” said Andrew Doole, vice president of Yachting Promotions, Inc., producers of the Yacht & Brokerage Show. “Recent data compiled by leading industry publications indicates that there are currently more yachts over 80 feet under construction worldwide than ever before. With that in mind, along with discussions with show exhibitors, we’re expecting sales activities during the show to be brisk.”

The legendary Indian Creek Waterway will showcase over 550 new and pre-owned luxury yachts including superyachts (80 feet and over), express cruisers, sportfishing boats, family cruisers and ocean-going trawlers ranging in price from $250,000 to over $20 million.

The Yacht & Brokerage Show is free to the public. Hours are 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily.

The Yacht & Brokerage Show is sponsored by KeyBank and INAMAR® Recreational Marine Insurance. The show is owned and sponsored by the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and Yachting Promotions, Inc.
