Product news:
Ancasta is proud to announce the UK launch of the brand new Rodman 38IPS luxury fly-bridge motor-yacht at the London Boat Show in Excel between 6th and 15th January.
The Rodman 38IPS is fitted with Volvo Penta's revolutionary new Inboard Performance System marine technology; making her a supremely flexible weekender cruiser with superb all-round performance. She incorporates Lloyds approved build quality and the handcrafted luxury of Spain's largest GRP boat manufacturer, with hull and decks in elegant proportion.
She is equipped with a large, sociable fly bridge and cockpit area - whilst remaining perfectly optimised for speed and control, even in testing conditions.
The boat gives the impression of being a much larger vessel, with spacious relaxation areas and full headroom throughout the interior. The designers of the Rodman 38IPS have combined simplicity and functionality, with luxury and elegance, to create an open, yet cosy, atmosphere inside. The saloon features a practical and convivial oval dinette and plush casual seating, whilst the separate galley sports a large capacity fridge, microwave and glass ceramic hob, to make entertaining on board a pleasure.
Two spacious cabins, each with its own heads compartment containing shower, handbasin and vacu-flush WC, are situated forwards of the main helm. The spacious owner's forward cabin is elegantly decorated in gloss cherry-wood furniture and subtle Alcantara trim. A comfortable island double berth floats in the middle of the cabin, with two opening portlights and a circular ceiling hatch allowing daylight to flood in. The master cabin's ensuite bathroom also contains a separate walk-in shower, ensuring there is no compromise on comfort.
Across the beam is the starboard guest cabin, again with similar cherry-wood furnishings, containing two single berths and a central reading table and cabinet. The guest heads are situated right next to the guest cabin for easy daytime access from the saloon.
Furthermore, the modern, evolved hull design combined with the precision of the IPS system allows for a tight turning circle, with zero cavitation through the turn. The improved efficiency of the engines also gives the Rodman 38IPS fast acceleration - she reaches planing speed in under half the time of a conventionally driven 38. Such performance, combined with open views from both helms and precise electronic steering, makes for a light and easily handled motor-yacht. However, we find the biggest difference is the quietness – she is dramatically easier on the ear than any other comparable powerboat.
The 38IPS comes with Rodman's class-leading 10-year factory hull and deck warranty as standard, providing additional peace of mind. For more information and viewings on the 38IPS or the other Rodman motor-yacht on display (the formidable Rodman 41IPS), visit the Ancasta sales team on the Rodman stand in the South Hall S2161. |
