Product news:
Frank Bongiorno president and CEO of Staten Island Yacht Sales, which has recently been appointed as a Cruiser dealer, has announced that the company is experiencing good attendance and an overall good attitude toward the 2006 boating season with people willing to spend on the things that make them happy. Reports came from current and potential yacht owners attending the New York National Boat Show at the Jacob Javis Convention Center in New York City December 31st - January 8th, 2006.
Bongiorno stated, “It's too soon to know for sure, but we are confident that with our strong product lines and boat show promotions, this event will produce very positive results."
The potential for a weak show presented itself earlier this month when the New York City transit workers went on strike threatening passage to and from the event. But with consumer confidence rising, many boating industry veterans look toward the future with a very positive outlook.
"We've experienced new areas of growth including women buyers and first-time boaters entering the yacht arena in the last few months", Bongiorno stated.
He added,"This serves as a perpetual flow of new buyers into the marketplace and our goal is to give them the best service possible so we keep them there." |
